Elizabeth D. Jones of Hamilton went to be with our Lord Thursday, June 28, 2012. Born April 25, 1918 in Portsmouth, Ohio the daughter of Solon and Geneva Williams, she was married to Charles H. Jones for 73 wonderful years before his passing in November of 2011. Libby was an active member of the community, volunteering for such organizations as Meals on Wheels, the Baby Milk Fund, the YWCA, the Salvation Army, and the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Charles R. (Beth) Jones of Bowling Green, Ohio, Richard D. Jones of Kettering, Bruce A. (Patricia) Jones of West Chester, and two daughters, Carolyn Jones of Hamilton and Mary Ann (Michael) Fox of Oxford, as well as eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A graveside memorial service with friends and family will be conducted at Rose Hill Burial Park by Rev. David Bridgeman on Tuesday, July 10th at 10:30 a.m.  |
